Ergys Vela (b, 1989) lives and works in in Shkodër, Albania. He graduated in Painting and Graphics in Shkodër and completed his master studies in Multimedia in the Academy of Arts in Tirana.

His work aims an active implication of the public, who is invited to interact with it and become a participant in a process where the viewer needs to complete something that is missing in the work. This kind of engagement might comprise the message of the art work and turn it into a public awareness message or a funny game. It is precisely here, in this dangerous “border” that the artist places his inspiration and work.
