Statement
The art of Shehaj focuses on the element of the geometric pictorial language; thus it is trying to reach the pure concept, reducing the artistic language to sign. His work seems limited to a few lines and colors, and it is becoming increasingly essential. This research is about the essentialist perception. The one or two colors that uses allow him to experiment with different materials of various techniques. Shehaj not trying to remember the fact, but the structure of reality. And if the universe was holographic? Its structure would be the same as that of our perception. The lines unite, divide, they expand and then integrate, play and give shape to the geometric shapes that live between the unreal dimension of the surface and the extension of real life, so the goal of pure and ‘absolute; over the time and the sensory space. His work is anthropometric. Human is all that we can measure.
