Fatlum Doçi (b, 1991) in Shkodër, Albania where he currently lives and works. He studied multimedia arts at the University of Arts in Tirana and graduated in 2015.
Among his most important exhibitions are: “Ex Gratia”, Collezione Giuseppe Iannaccone, Milano (2018); ARDHJE Award for Young Visual Artists, ZETA Gallery, Tirana (2018); The Biennial of Humor and Satire, Gabrovo, Bulgaria (2017); Mediterranea 18 Young Artists Biennale, Tirana, (2017); “It Looks Like”, Zeta Gallery, Tirana (2017); “Inside-Out”, Tirana Art Lab (2016); “Idromeno Award”, Art Gallery, Shkodër (2015); arTVision – A Live Art Channel, M’ARS Center for Contemporary Art, Moscow (2015). In 2015 he was an artist-in-residence at the Light Residency in Rijeka (Croatia), organized by an electro-acoustic duo JMZM.

Statement
Through the mediums of painting, video and design, Doçi envisions his creative process as a departure from the ordinary, as an inward journey in order to experience what appears as obvious and what doesn’t. His work is strongly connected with the origin which translates for the artist as art itself.
